Signal Hill
Golf Center

The Signal Hill Golf Center invigorates Driving Range design with contemporary energy and builds on the social potential of the activity. The design also responds to the non-conventional site and limited budget. The City of Signal Hill is slowly transforming from industrial / oil production uses to a more diversified commercial base. The driving range was the perfect interim use to achieve such a transition. The graphic approach of red painted wood screens steel 'T' line, unconventional forms, and the "Golfers' socks" patterned proshop is deliberately strong to play against this gritty setting.

The Signal Hill Golf Center has 34 ground level tees, 21 second level tees (expandable to 35), a 1000 sq. ft proshop and a roofed dining patio.
