This internationally renowned research program then housed visiting scholars in dispersed, off-campus rentals. This concept for a casual, collegial 55 unit residence was developed through an interactive process with the University and Institute faculty.

Apartments are arranged around shared outdoor space surrounding a commons. Family Apartments are located on the ground floor, and studios on upper levels. Planting and open space enhance adjacent bike path and wetlands, connect to the regional landscape, and improve water management.
